Especially after Oracle acquisition, Java is pacing towards commercial usage apart from freeware platform.
Most Important Lessons
Learning a technology takes 2-3 weeks. Mastering a technology takes 4-5 months. Value for customer lies only in a perfect mix of technologies is used for delivering a good solution as per requirement.
Current Job Profile
I'm currently working as Senior Software Engineer, primarily designing new solutions and secondarily performance-engineering the existing applications. I'm more oriented to Java-Oracle-Unix combination of solutions and I've been working on Comverse products.
